President's Message

Greetings from ANMI!!

It is an honor for me to be the President –ANMI for the Year 2022-2023.

I would like to thank you for your trust and confidence in me by electing me for the position of President of ANMI. I appreciate your support immensely and regard it as an encouragement to continue the action I have begun as an Alternate President Last year.

Over this one year, we will continue to build on our strengths, but also take on new directions.

To have a structured future one must learn from the past. Last two years have brought significant changes to the way we work. Covid Period has taught us the biggest lesson of our lives i.e. there are opportunities even in difficulties, all we need is to mold ourselves according to the changing situation.

The past years have been good for the broking industry. Reforms like pledge/ re-pledge has made market a safe place for the Investors. A whole new class of investors are emerging i.e. Professionals, students in higher education, businessmen, housewives etc. Total demat account stands at 9 crore. The presence of investors has also reached to Tier 2 and 3 cities. We have witnessed good time and good time is yet to continue. We are entering into a golden era, earlier Japan witnessed that in 1970, USA in 1980, China in 1990 and now it is India's turn.

There are lots of opportunities available for the members like consolidation, SGX Nifty coming to Gift City and also digitization and automation playing an important role in the growth. As your president, I am committed to ensure that all our members are resourced properly with these opportunities and assistance to develop their skills and method of operating. We have a lot to offer to the members and if we do it right, I know our contributions will be welcomed and appreciated.

I do not think that the president role is confined to symbolically attending the meetings or on deciding on organization matters or attending various official ceremonies. On the contrary, I am convinced that the role and duty of the president is far beyond that and to solve the needs of the members, helping them to grow, to represent our group as far as possible in the outside world and to strengthen our relations with regulators SEBI, IFSCA and RBI.

In the coming year ANMI will continue to host programs that strengthen members through education, training and resources and will deliver on all major questions across the members block. We have plan in place to reach out to every member in their home cities.

In conclusion, I can reaffirm to you that I will use my experience and relations along with your suggestions to take our organization to the new heights. We will work as a collective organization and will function with the commitment of all. I will always be available to all the members, just an email away.
