Voice Of Capital Market

Association Of National Exchanges Members Of India

President's Message

CA. Vinod Kumar Goyal

Dear Members,

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I assume responsibilities as the President of our prestigious organization Association of National Exchanges Members of India (ANMI) for the year 2024-25.

It is indeed a great honour for me to step into the shoes of leading personalities of Capital Market who held this post in earlier years. Their immense contribution over the 27 years of ANMI’S existence is laudable.

My able predecessor Mr. Vijay Mehta has made a great contribution last year by his sheer hard work, perseverance, strong public relations and new policy initiatives. Shri Vijay Mehta has very kindly assured me of his full cooperation and I thank him for his graciousness.

I am happy to have Mr. K. Suresh with me as Alternate President ANMI who brings with him his knowledge and experience of previously being president of ANMI.

ANMI today is a reputed Association duly recognised by Regulators SEBI and Exchanges (MII) with proper infrastructure across India, talented regional chairmen duly supported by their respective managing committee members and a hard-working National Secretariat. ANMI working and policy initiatives are well guided by an efficient Board of Directors.

With such dynamic team, I am looking forward to an exciting eventful year to serve our large broking community with the theme “Sabka sath , sabka prayas ”(joint action of all associated with efforts of all).

In consultations with my colleagues, I have short-listed the following broad areas of ANMI working during the ensuing year, with the theme  “ Ease of doing Business ”

·         Regular Interaction with M.I.I ( Market Infrastructure Institutions)

·         To look for vendors to render Technology support for members compliances and back office.

·         To engage with research scholars/professors/management institutes to come out with research paper w.r.t. the Govt.  Taxes like GST, STT, Stamp Duty on capital market transactions (including CTT on commex transactions and on currency Derivatives transactions) which are collected through ANMI members as intermediary/facilitators  and the growth trend for last 10 years which shall be submitted to MOF to appraise them of ANMI members role in such improved collections .Thereafter to request for rationalisation/reduction to lower down  impact cost and consequent enhancement in volumes.

·          In association with  NISM to conduct, hold and organise CSR, Educational and  Investor Awareness programs .

I assure all members that I shall leave no stone unturned to prove to the faith reposed in me.

Warm Regards and looking forward to your co-operation in my tenure as President ANMI for the year 2024-25.

With Regards,

National President, ANMI
