About SES

Stakeholders Empowerment Services (SES) is a not-for-profit Corporate Governance research and advisory firm under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. It is the first Company to register as Proxy Advisor under SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014. It believes that active participation of stakeholders in the Corporate Governance is a prerequisite for the Company's long-term sustainable growth. Therefore, it works with investors to help them analyze governance practices prevalent at listed companies, educate them on matters that pertain to Corporate Governance, and empower them through governance tools that facilitate meaningful participation in Corporate Governance.

Participation of shareholders by way of voting is imperative to ensure good governance in a company, which would help create long term value, and thereby enable the business realize its true potential. SES provides unbiased and independent recommendations to shareholders on resolutions proposed in shareholder meetings. This service helps investors engage with managements and boards in a constructive manner and take informed voting actions.

While SES charges the Institutional Investors for its services, its abridged Proxy Advisory Reports are available to investors for free on the website of the Company. This initiative by the Company is to encourage the investors at large to participate in voting at shareholder meetings, and empower them to make a change in the present corporate governance scenario of listed companies in the Country.
